The Kunstmuseum Bern and the Zentrum Paul Klee sought a contemporary, user-friendly, and future-proof digital platform to make their artworks, exhibitions, and events accessible to a broader audience. By choosing NodeHive as the technical foundation, they established an integrated solution that seamlessly incorporates ticketing and creates an innovative digital visiting experience for museum guests.
This session explores how Drupal was employed to meet the complex needs of two leading Swiss cultural institutions. The result is a holistic platform that not only showcases collections, exhibitions, and related programmes in an appealing manner, but also integrates ticket sales directly into the user journey and ensures seamless connections to external systems. Through Drupal’s flexible architecture and powerful integration capabilities, the project team created a digital experience that delights visitors and enhances internal workflows.
Participants will learn how the technical realisation, content management, and alignment with internal business processes were successfully achieved. This case study demonstrates how Drupal can serve as a powerful and future-oriented solution for cultural institutions.
